Centech

Centech is a world-class incubator dedicated to high-tech companies with strong growth potential, and stands out particularly in the fields of medical technology. In 2019, Centech was recognized by UBI Global as one of the world's top-performing university incubators. A not-for-profit organization open to all, Centech is powered by the École de Technologie Supérieure de Montréal and offers two business support programs.

Centech is the ideal partner in Quebec to bring our project to fruition more quickly. Of the 300 companies that initially applied to the 12-week Acceleration program at Montreal's Centech incubator, KAT Innovation and its OSTAAT™ medical device project was one of 10 selected to move on to the 2-year Propulsion program. This selection was made by a jury made up of business people, investors, entrepreneurs, Centech leaders and ÉTS professors. In addition, Marcel Maroist, the company's president and founder, was awarded the Coup de Coeur de la promotion.
